Current Reads-1.25

I am now reading the works of William Least Heat Moon, speicifically 'Blue Highways & Thr River Horse. One is a trip through the US in a van along America's Blue Highways, i.e., the ones marked in blue on maps that are pretty much the forgotten highways of America now. It's a good journey through the back roads of our country and all the folks that he meets along the way. He was greatly influnenced by John Mcphee who also is a favorite of mine. I have now finished the River Horse and am almost done with another novel by him call The Quest for Quaz.

I am now in the process of reading River Horse which I just started but it is seeing America through the rivers of this country going from One Coast to the other. I wiil update this as I read along.

Before Hubble Saw it in 1996

When you open my website the opening picture 'The Thin Line' is a painting that has the shapes "tadpole like with firery heads" that the Hubble pictures produced for scientist in 1996. My painting with my signature and the date in the lower right hand corner is from 1992. I guess I got a little bit of a jump on NASA that time. Attched is the original newspaper article.
